HANOVER, Mass. - Diman Girls Track and Field set multiple school records, captured multiple All-Star Honors, and placed 2nd overall in the Mayflower Championship Meet.


Top performers for the girls included:

Inez Medeiros - Mayflower League All Star, winning the 100m, setting a school record in 13.01, winning the 200m (27.00) and anchoring the winning 4x400 team (4:40)

Emma Foley - Mayflower League All Star, winning the Triple Jump (33' 5"), placing second in the 100m, setting a new school record (16.80), and placing second in the Long Jump (15'10)

Grace Flattery - Mayflower League All Star, winning the 400m Hurdles (1:13), only .2 off the current school record, placing 2nd in the High Jump (5'0), and placing 5th in the Triple Jump (30'11)

Eden McCausland - Mayflower League All Star, winning the 4x400, and finishing 3rd in the 800m setting a new school record (2:41)

Isabelle Chekares-Mayflower League All Star, winning the 4x400. and finishing 5th in the 400m (1:11)

Dakota Valente - Mayflower League All Star, leading off the winning 4x400 team.


Also medaling for Diman were:

Katie Miranda - taking 3rd place in Shot Put with a throw of 27' 7", only a few inches shy of the school record.

Kaylee Miranda - placing 3rd in Discus (66'7)

Kaitlyn Nickelson - placing 3rd place in High Jump (5'0), 4th place in Triple Jump (31'0), and 7th in Long Jump (14'3)

Julia Latour-Brum - 4th place in Javelin (80' 6)

Kaylee Lachapelle - 5th place in Javelin (79'11)

Angela Njoroge - 4th place 400m (1:08.8)
